I love how the guidelines for creating and shipping are clear and easy to follow. You simply print out a packing slip, fill out, confirm that you've met the requirements by reviewing a checklist, and away they go!
I was (clearly) accumulating an overabundance of cards, and I was thrilled to see them go to some pretty amazing people--our American heroes serving in places where there are no card stores.
I sincerely hope they bring joy to our troops as well as the family members who will receive the cards back with a personal greeting from their loved one. Check out what they have to say about the cards they receive on this blog. It's pretty neat to be involved in this project!
WOW, look at all those wonderful cards for our heroes! Terrific!
ReplyDeleteSince Summer PSL is imminent, I am also working on packing up a box for OWH. In addition, I belong to a local monthly card club and those add up, too. Thanks for your contribution, Tricia.

DeleteSo cool!
ReplyDeletethat's a big batch! I've been making cards for OWH for several years, makes me feel like I'm doing a little bit to help support the troops!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, Nancy! Glad to know that you're involved, too. So cool!
DeleteIt is a very gratifying feeling to be supporting our troops in this manner. Every card will be sincerely appreciated, both by the troop who picks the card and the recipient back home who receives it. Kudos to you for a job well done...
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting, Tricia! I'm packing up my shipment today... it's a good feeling, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteColleen Wilson (crickitt) and I have been doing owh with psl for a couple years now. So glad more CS crafters are doing it now too!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome program, Tricia! I bet they LOVE the cards you created!
