Turtle Card Trio

Hola!

It's been a while since I've checked in. Being a frequent blogger at Club Scrap typically swallows up most of my creative time.

I was visiting a card-making friend, and she had some cute turtle die cuts. She offered one to me after I told her about my friend who loves turtles! This trio of turtle cards was born with the help of a few sheets of paper from Club Scrap's High Tide collection.

Turtle Card Trio

One 12x12 High Tide Print was used to add color and artwork to the outside of the cards and a softly printed liner for the inside. I simply trimmed the "wave" portion into three 3-7/8x5-1/8" panels, and the white portion into three 4x5-1/2" panels.

Next, each card was decorated with a stamped image or die cut and a stamped sentiment. I love how my Stamping Buddy helped me achieve a nice, bold impression of the image. I used paper from my POPs (packs of panels from Club Scrap) to mat the main panel and sentiment panel.

Finally, stamp an inner sentiment and image. By using the Stamping Buddy, I got the images situated and stamped repeatedly. I felt sort of like a human printing press.

That's all there was to it! I enjoying this fun little card-making distraction!

Happy thoughts!
Tricia

  1. Well these turned out super cute and fantastic use of the single 12x12 prints for both the fronts and the insides!
