Things to Do: Beat Cancer

Club Scrap released a set of stamps many years ago called "We Are Aware." The mini-sized sheet was packed with enough quotes and objects to create endless cards of encouragement for those who are facing a battle with cancer.

My dear friend and next door neighbor officially begins her fight against large B-cell lymphoma today, and I wanted to encourage her with a card. I easily located the "We Are Aware" stamp sheets from my stash, selected the "8 of Hearts" card formula from Idea Deck V, and chose papers from Club Scrap's Aviary collection (March, 2019).

This is the card I plan to give to Anne. It uses the Falling Leaves Masking Stencil with white pigment ink, and it's embellished with die cut leaves. I think it's perfect for this time of year.

I also have five additional cards on hand for when I need them . . .

(Inside of the card: "You are my hero.")

Blessings to all those who are facing or have faced a similar battle. You do not fight alone.

XO.
Tricia

  2. One of my "Go-to" stamp sets. Keeping Anne in our thoughts. She's blessed to have a friend and neighbor like you.
