Flap those wings card.

If you want to get big bang for your buck on time, this card makes quite an impression with a small investment.

Begin with a piece of 12x12 paper and score from each outside edge. After the 3" scores are made, score 6" from each edge, stopping at the intersecting scoreline. Basically, just recreate the lines in this handy diagram:

Using a craft knife, acrylic grid ruler and cutting mat, add cuts where indicated on the solid lines in the diagram.

Next, just fold along the outer score lines to make "wings" for your card. Each wing will fold onto the 6x6" card base.

Lots of decorating potential here. In other words, you're going to feel like you have a never-ending number of 2.75x2.75" mini works of art to create along with a 6x6" panel for the inside. Fun stuff!

The 8.5x11" Club Stamp Print from Take Wing was a great decorative candidate with its four-quadrant graphic elements. It trims nicely into eight 2.75" squares . . . two each of four colors.

Just keep stamping and decorating away until you're happy with the nifty card!

The flaps will want to flop, so use a ribbon or some other clever device to hold the card together.
