Envelope Punch Board Tag Booklet

Welcome to the Club Scrap Creates Hopes Blog Hop! (If that's not how you got here, visit CS Creates and enjoy the entire series of fabulous blog entries featuring the Hopes kit!)

I love my new Envelope Punch Board from WeR. Don't you?

The stuff I've always wanted to make with my own custom envelopes can now be done with ease and efficiency. I'm all about that. (See my video on how to use the board.)

Since those good 'ole manila shipping tags still seem to be the rage, I thought it would be fun to make some envelopes for them. I used the 3.5x5.5" envelope measurement on the punch board and created a bunch of envelopes starting with 7.5x7.5" papers from the Hopes kit along with a few other neutrals.

Punch, score, punch score, etc., fold, and lob off one short envelope flap so you can slide the tags in from the top. I also used my Corner Chomper to round the corners at the top of the envelope opening. Next, punch holes into the long edge of the envelopes for binding rings.

Envelopes punched and ready to bind with rings.

Make a pair of simple wrapped matte board covers. Add punched holes to the covers, too.

Insert the tags into the envies.

Decorate. (I still have more decorating to do, but this is a start.)

Off to the punch board, right? But first, continue hopping along. Your next stop is in the Netherlands with Hetty Sanders at Craft Chaos!

Leave a comment below to put your name into a hat for some blog candy! We'll do the drawing and announce the winner on Monday, July 1.
